notice of voluntary dismissal with prejudice 042324
Groelle & Salmon has successfully obtained a Voluntarily Dismissal with Prejudice in Hillsborough County on behalf of Citizens Property Insurance Corporation. Citizens filed (2) Motions for Summary Judgment in Teresa Alarcon vs. Citizens Property Insurance Corporation, Case No. 23-CA-001894. The Motions for Summary Judgment concerned the following grounds: 1) existing/long term damage; 2) no peril created opening/wear, tear and deterioration. David Kelly of Groelle & Salmon’s Tampa office filed the Motions and secured the dismissal. Plaintiffs agreed to dismiss with prejudice, with the Parties bearing their own fees and costs, rather than proceed with the pending summary judgment hearing in light of an expired proposal for settlement. Congratulations to Citizens Property Insurance Corporation.
